The Lynxmotion SES-PRO 550mm 6DoF Modular Robotic Arm Kit is designed for versatility, offering a 2kg payload capacity at full extension with an accuracy of ±0.1 mm. Unlike traditional purpose-built robotic arms, this model is fully modular and reconfigurable to meet various application needs. Users can add additional degrees of freedom, reconfigure existing ones, or remove components as needed. The design prioritizes safety, eliminating evident pinch points.
Built on the Lynxmotion SES-PRO Modular Robotic Building System, the arm integrates six Lynxmotion Professional Smart Servo actuators. It features strain wave gearing, NEMA stepper motors, onboard electronics, a microcontroller, motor controller, voltage regulation, an IMU with accelerometer and gyroscope, CAN communication, and absolute angular feedback. Its human-readable communication protocol ensures ease of use.
The robotic arm is fully supported by ROS2, allowing seamless integration for various robotics projects. Designed to work within the ROS2 framework, it enables robust communication, control, and customization using standard ROS2 tools and libraries. Users can access dedicated ROS2 packages through the official GitHub repository, ensuring an easy setup process and smooth deployment.
