ROSPug is a Jetson Nano-powered quadruped robot featuring 12 high-voltage intelligent servos for precise, powerful movement. Equipped with an HD camera, OpenCV, and TOF Lidar, it supports AI tasks like object recognition, obstacle avoidance, and face detection. Users can control it via the WonderROS app (Android/iOS), PC, or a wireless PS2 controller, with a live camera feed for first-person viewing.
Built on ROS, ROSPug integrates advanced components, including an IMU sensor and OLED display, and supports Gazebo simulation for learning and validation. Its dual-controller system combines Jetson Nano’s AI capabilities with MCU high-frequency control for precise movement and real-time adjustments. It features customizable gait planning with inverse kinematics, allowing users to fine-tune leg movements and walking patterns.
ROSPug’s aluminum alloy frame houses high-torque servos, ensuring durability and smooth motion. With an advanced link structure, it enhances joint efficiency and movement range. It supports various gaits (walk, amble, trot) and allows users to adjust height, speed, and posture dynamically. The integrated IMU sensor provides self-balancing and real-time yaw correction.
Machine vision enables line following, circular drifting, stair climbing, and ball shooting, while vision-based tracking supports face and gesture recognition. Its Oradar MS200 Lidar enables SLAM-based mapping, path planning, and dynamic obstacle avoidance. ROSPug also supports Python programming, graphical PC control, and mobile app operation, offering a versatile platform for robotics research and AI development.
