The Lynxmotion Smart Servo PRO Standard Modular T-Frame Coupler is a durable aluminum component designed for use within the Lynxmotion SES-PRO modular robotic construction system. Serving as a fixed, non-actuated “dummy” joint, this coupler is commonly used in Lynxmotion PRO robotic arms to reduce the number of degrees of freedom.
Featuring mounting patterns on three sides, the T-Frame Coupler is compatible with all three types of PRO servos, tubing clamps, and other SES-PRO accessories. It enables users to connect components securely and configure their robotic systems with greater flexibility. This coupler is particularly useful for simplifying robotic arms by replacing joint 4 in a 6DoF arm to create a 5DoF setup, or replacing joint 6 for a 4DoF configuration. By eliminating servos in certain joints, it reduces overall weight and increases the arm’s payload capacity. Hardware for installation is included with the servos or accessories to which it connects.
